Mission of Our Music School
Crescendo Academy of Music is the best music school to offer private and group instrumental and vocal lessons from highly qualified teaching artists and performers in Southwest Michigan. The academy provides opportunities for performances in a variety of local venues, lessons in music theory and composition, chamber ensembles, Orff studio classes for children and adults, and Music Together®, a nationally recognized early childhood music program. Pre-school children to adults over the age of seventy are active in Crescendo’s programs.

Crescendo Academy of Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with funding support from major foundations, arts organizations, businesses and individual donors. It strives to make music accessible to all through need-based scholarships and an instrument loan program. The Academy provides services to all children and adults without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, weight, height, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran or marital status.
