Developed by Laura Norris, the Mando for Kids curriculum was designed to introduce elementary school children to the mandolin as a classical instrument. A grant from the Classical Mandolin Society of America allows us to provide the instruments for this class.
The fall session of Mando for Kids runs from September 17 through December 10th.
The Mando for Kids class will meet on Tuesdays from 5:45 pm – 6:15 pm.
$150 for each 10-week session.
Music Together mixed age classes are for children from birth through age 5 and their parent(s) or caregiver. The Music Together® award winning summer curriculum is used in a playful, developmentally appropriate environment which utilizes singing, moving, playing instruments and making music in a fun 45-minute class. This type of music making is shown to enhance higher order thinking skills in our children, which supports all learning and provides an opportunity for children to attain basic music competence that is needed before learning an instrument. The best part about Music Together® is the FUN we have together making music every class!
The 10-week sessions begin in September, January, and May.
The 6-week summer session begins in June.
See our main Music Together page for current schedules.
10-week sessions: $185.00 for the first child; $115.00 for the second child.
6-week session: $125 for the first child; $75 for a sibling 15 months or older.
