
Ann Armbruster
Ann Armbruster is a music educator, board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), and cellist who loves helping people connect and grow through music. She taught elementary general music in southwest Michigan public schools for 12 years, holds a master’s degree in music therapy from Western Michigan University, and a bachelor’s degree in music education from Alma College.
As a performer, Ann plays cello with the Kalamazoo Philharmonia and the all-cello ensemble Octocelli. She also served on the Board of the West Michigan Orff Chapter from 2019 to 2025, collaborating to bring nationally-known clinicians to provide professional development to regional music educators.
