
Cameron Hachigian
Cameron Hachigian is a composer and songwriter from Troy, Michigan. While there he earned a reputation as a versatile guitarist in several local acts. The most notable act was his tenure in the indie rock band, St. Cecilia, where he served as the guitarist, pianist, and string arranger of the group until its hiatus in 2022. He moved to Kalamazoo to pursue degrees in Music Composition and Education at Western Michigan University, graduating in 2025. While at WMU, he earned many prestigious scholarships and the Robert J. Fisk Award for Chamber Music (2022). HeĀ released 3 studio albums as a singer-songwriter and composed the music for the film Paradise Island during his time at university. In 2024, he founded the Kalamazoo-based alternative rock band, Paper Sound, as the guitarist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter.
In addition to his composition career, Cameron is an avid educator. He has taught music private lessons since 2018 in a variety of topics including; guitar, bass, ukulele, voice, piano, songwriting, composition, theory, brass, and recording for a wide range of ages.
