Lauren Shult is a student in her fourth year at Western Michigan University, double majoring in Piano Performance and Music Therapy. Her principal piano teacher is Dr. Yu-Lien The. Curious about piano pedagogy and performance research, Lauren serves on the executive board of WMU’s Collegiate Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Lauren enjoys working as a collaborative pianist at Western Michigan University as well as St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Portage, MI. She is excited to combine her expertise in music therapy as well as piano pedagogy to create an engaging and holistic studio environment.
