
Shannon Scoles
Shannon Scoles earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Hillsdale College and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Michigan University. A Crescendo Teaching Artist since 2002, Shannon also teaches Basic Theory and Applied Voice at Western Michigan University. She has previously taught Aural Skills at WMU and Kalamazoo College. During the summer, she is the Director of Epic Broadway Musical Theater Camp, a collaborative summer camp by Crescendo Academy of Music and Wellspring.
Shannon appeared as a featured vocal soloist with the Balalaika and Domra Association of America (traditional Russian orchestra), and was a NATSAA (National Association of Teachers of Singing Artist Award) winner for the state of Michigan in 2010.
She lives in Kalamazoo with her husband, two sons, puppies Banner and Anabelle, and a tortoise named Sir Matthias Crabby-Appleton.
